About Me

Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a portrait photographer who specializes in senior and family portraits; portraits that can include your family pets. You’ve done the hard work of creating the family you wanted, graduating high school, or celebrating another major achievement in your life. Now, you just need someone alongside to capture photographs documenting that journey and that’s where I come in. Allow me to use my camera to document your success and joy. Photographs of these moments allow you to reflect on them in years to come and share them with future generations.

My passion for photography began after taking a class in high school and this has allowed me to document changes in my own family over the years. Photographs allow me to freeze special moments so that they can be remembered forever. Time passes so quickly and often it is only when looking back through old photographs that we realize just how much some things have changed in a short amount of time.

When I’m not taking photographs, you can find me outdoors, often hiking with my German Shepherd, and just enjoying the great Minnesota landscape. Even then, I often still have my camera along so I can photograph whatever catches my eye. Having grown up on the back of a horse and running through the woods with my siblings, I am drawn to outdoor scenes and am thankful that Minnesota has so many places to explore.
